These are mausoleums for drug kingpins. The cartels fit them with bulletproof glass, air conditioning, and even satellite TV. They’re nicer than most normal houses! And apparently vandalizing them is the new way for cartels to attack each other.

Phenomena: The Secret History of the U.S. Government's Investigations into Extrasensory Perception and Psychokinesis by Annie Jacobsen

This book is bananas… B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Three things:

1. Most of the “research” was fake, rigged, or silly. Conspiracy theorists only wish psychics and New Agers were running the government. (Except they kind of were when the Reagans were in charge. Really.)

2. There are two specific stories in this book that scared me. Jacobsen would not classify them this way, but I firmly believe demons were speaking to the remote viewers in those stories. Mess around and find out indeed.

3. This was just declassified from Project Sun Streak, one of the projects discussed in the book. “CIA found the Ark of the Covenant using psychics”

   

Narrator voice: They did not, in fact, find the Ark of the Covenant.

I like country mixed with electronica, and it’s catchy! It’s also a perfect theme song for one of the characters in my mermaid series. “Run it, run it, run it til we’re running out of road…”

If you’ve ever heard of The Island of Dr. Moreau, imagine if that was a video game and add in the background of playing it during the pandemic.
